about
James Blondo is about how the world can be a scary place and even though you have areas in your life in which you excel and feel comfortable like your hometown, job, group of friends or hobbies, it’s always good to explore the things that intimidate or scare you because that’s when you learn the most about who you are and who you want to be.
I’ve always felt that pressure really brings out a persons true colors. It’s a real test of ones character and it allows you to reflect and improve on short comings you didn’t know you were there. The melancholy guitar riffs over a moving baseline and a bouncing drum beat seem to really compliment the feeling of ups and downs in the lyrics of the chorus. James Blondo sets to paint a soundscape for really finding what makes you shake and what makes you feel alone and embracing it as a part of who you are.
